Your Representative
John brings a lifetime of proven leadership to the State Capitol. Not a career politician — a veteran, business builder, and neighbor committed to the values, families, and future of District 5.
About John
John Doe has spent his life serving in uniform, building businesses, and giving back to the community he calls home. He and his wife Jane have built their life in District 5 — and he's ready to bring that same work ethic to the State Capitol.
John spent nearly two decades in manufacturing, building operations from the ground up and leading teams through growth and change. That experience — managing people, navigating markets, creating jobs — is exactly the kind of real-world leadership District 5 needs in the State Capitol.
John enlisted in the U.S. Army at 18, serving stateside and abroad before joining the National Guard. His service didn't end with his discharge — he continues to support fellow veterans through the Veterans Advisory Board and the American Legion.
John and his wife Jane put down roots in District 5 over a decade ago. He's deeply invested in the community he seeks to serve — as a member of the local Rotary, the Rodeo Board, the Boys & Girls Club, and as a Republican Precinct Committee Officer. He understands the issues facing rural families from the inside out.
Priorities
John will cut red tape, reduce the regulatory burden on small businesses, and create the conditions for jobs to grow right here in District 5. Real economic opportunity starts with getting government out of the way.
Agriculture is the backbone of our district's economy. John will protect water rights, fight burdensome regulations that threaten family farms, and champion the farmers and ranchers who feed our state and nation.
Working families are being squeezed by rising costs. John will oppose tax increases that hit everyday families the hardest and fight for policies that keep housing, energy, and groceries affordable for District 5.
Our communities deserve to feel safe. John will support law enforcement, back policies that hold criminals accountable, and oppose measures that undermine public safety in our rural towns and neighborhoods.
Every child in District 5 deserves a great education and a future here at home. John will support local school funding, vocational training, and programs that give young people the tools to thrive.
As a veteran himself, John knows that keeping our commitments to those who served is not optional. He will fight for improved veterans' services, mental health support, and policies that honor military families.
The State Capitol shouldn't impose urban priorities on rural communities. John will defend property rights, fight for responsible energy balance that puts landowners first, protect Second Amendment rights, and preserve the self-reliant culture that makes our district unique.
